I am a writer from a small city in Auburn, New York. I have lived in this city my entire life. Growing up I had dreams of being an NBA basketball player, but as a I grew older, those dreams slowly began to diminish. The reality was that I just was not even close to being good enough and I was okay to accept this. As I grew older, I grew an obsession for entertainment, creativity, and writing. I wanted to become an Actor. I looked at guys like Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon, Denzel Washington, and Will Smith like wow those guys are awesome. I want to be like those guys. Well, sure enough in 2023, I was given that opportunity. I was able to star in my first movie role. I played as “Doug” in the Graveyard Shark. The movie is currently airing on Amazon Prime and Tubi. I also have experience in Vlogging, my Youtube Channel is “LifewithDanielDeFranco”. Now, I take on my next challenge of creative writing. I always enjoyed writing, and I enjoy the idea of using our minds, our creativity, and our imagination to create a story. I plan on using this vlog to not only write, but to tell creative stories.
I graduated Auburn High School in the class of 2013 and then went on to attend Cayuga Community College in Auburn to study Criminal Justice Corrections. I graduated in 2015 and during that time I went onto play college basketball for two years. Upon then, I transferred to Suny Oswego to study Public Justice. I graduated in 2018. Once I graduated and finished college, I immediately gravitated towards film and video. This was always my passion. I realized almost in that instance that I may have went to college for the wrong degree, but that is okay. I hope you can use my lesson as a key- to chase what you are truly passionate about in life!
